Bon Jovi's Lost Highway Keeps Rollin

Bon Jovi's latest album, Lost Highway keeps proving it can go the distance. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, becoming Bon Jovi's first ever album to debut at #1 and their third album to reach that position after Slippery When Wet in 1986 and New Jersey in 1988. Lost Highway also debuted at Number one in Japan.

According to Wikipedia, this is the fourth such time, breaking the Beatles record of having three number one albums in the country! The album was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2008 Grammy Awards.

The lead single was "(You Want to) Make a Memory", which was released for download on the US iTunes Store on April 17, 2007. It debuted and peaked at #27 on the Billboard Hot 100, and reached #35 on the U.S. country chart. "Till We Ain't Strangers Anymore", a duet with country singer LeAnn Rimes, entered the Hot 100 Bubbling Under Singles Chart at #23 and the U.S. Hot Country Chart at #47. "Summertime" also charted at #39 on the Canadian Hot 100 on airplay alone. You can view videos for "Till We Ain't Strangers Anymore" and "Make a Memory" on the Bon Jovi website (BonJovi.com).

It's expected that Bon Jovi will make around $125 million on the Lost Highway tour. For the Have a Nice Day tour (2005-2006) they grossed $131 million. Not bad for a few months of work out of the year! Rock on guys!
