"Lost Horizon" June 2007 (20" x 48") consists of an undercoat of latex paint, spray paint, and acrylics with oils added later. I took the "White Noise" painting and colored it in.
I really like this painting because it's geometrical design and it's not, the lines of latex underneath the triangles cause a disturbing effect of your wanting to stay in the lines but the squiggles drag you outside the lines. I thought of also naming this "Controlled Chaos."
Currently with making paintings and giving them to some of my friends, I've elected with this one to keep it at home. It's hanging in my living room (a tough room to get wall space in since my hubby has a say as to what goes in there).
