Fanged Love - Part 2

Healing Touch
Immediately, he laid his hands on her shoulders, caressing her slowly, carefully, precisely, covering every inch of her upper body. Over and over he repeatedly rubbed her. His hands were strong and firm, moving always in one direction from the inside of her neck, outwards over her shoulders and down her arms.

As his hands moved over her, she could feel the heat absorbing into her skin, a flow of warmth gathered in her shoulders and moved down to each area of her body, slowly at first, tingling and pushing away the cold hand of death that gripped her. As the warmth from his hands began to flow deeper into her skin, muscles, bones, she could feel her body responding to his touch, following his touch, thirsting for it. With each touch, her body raced to meet it, rushed to it and responded to healing the injury his hands had passed over. But as soon as he paused in between his pattern of touch, her body would stop, wait for the warmth from his touch, crying out for it again, for the warmth to continue, for it not to stop. And then when his touch came again, the healing would continue.

With each caress, the pain retreated and faded while the heat of his touch created a surging energy in her, whirling and twirling throughout her body. She knew he was taking away every slash, every gash he had given me. She began to try to detach her mind from her body in an effort to relax herself. The heat from his touch was growing unbearable and she knew she had to let it continue, but think of something else so she could remain calm.

"No," he said to her as he continued touching her. "Don't detach. Stay with me. Feel this. We must heal you." His movements were increasing in speed and his hands were traveling further down the length of her body.

"Nathan, what are you doing? The heat is so intense, my mind is, I can't, uhhh, you're driving me to insanity. What's happening???"

"Yes," he moaned. "You're ready. Let it take over your body and mind. Let the chaos envelope you. Trust me, you'll be okay."

Her breath was starting to become shallow. She could feel the heat burning through her body now. Her whole being was on fire, surging and rocking back and forth. She lay, writhing beneath his touch. And then she screamed.

Victoria sat with her back up against the wall. Her scream had propelled her backwards across the floor. She sat dazed, staring at him from her new vantage point. He stood in the middle of the room, smiling at her. His green eyes were shining so brightly. She had always been fascinated by his eyes and now they gleamed so intensely.

Quietly, he crossed the room and sat down beside her without any words or questions. He wanted to look over her body, making sure all of her wounds were gone. But she held his hands in hers, kept him still before her and peered into his eyes. She listened to his thoughts. He allowed her to enter his mind, to hear what he was thinking at that one moment. "You have it, the gift, just as I do. We'll be able to now read one another’s thoughts now and we can protect each other forever. This is why I summoned you last night; Not to destroy you, but recreate you. We are one now. We can go somewhere else and start over."

to be continued...
